HAYATOU TRIES TO INFLUENCE DELEGATES AGAINST VOTING FOR NYANTAKYI

Reports from Sudan reaching footyghana.com indicate that the President of the Confederation of African Football, Issa Hayatou has been subtly telling delegates not to vote for, amongst others, Ghana Football Association President Kwasi Nyantakyi into a CAF Executive member position. Our sources in Sudan reveal that Hayatou sees certain candidates, including Nyantakyi as allies of Danny Jordaan, whom he sees as a threat to his own position as the Head of African football. According to footyghana.com sources in Sudan, other candidates for other CAF Executive member positions not seen to be in the Hayatou camp have also been  ‘blacklisted’ by the CAF boss. The elections take place tomorrow and Nyantakyi will be contesting for a CAF seat with Beninois boss Anjourin Moucharafu, who is considered a very close ally of Hayatou. Observers in Sudan say that should Nyantakyi win the election, that will signal the start of a revolution within CAF and ultimately and long term signify the end of Hayatou’s reign at the top.

  1. This slow moving truck out of innovations should make way for the fast running sports cars to pass...... we pray that Hayatou falls by the traps he sets for Nyantekyi..... I dont want to be a preacher man but, there are references in the Bible.
