GHANA, SOUTH AFRICA TOLD TO STAND BY FOR AFRICAN YOUTH SOCCER CHAMPIONSHIP

Ghana and South Africa have been told by the Confederation of African Football to stand by to replace Libya as hosts for the 2011 African Youth Championships. The Political unrest in Libya, which has resulted in loss of many lives has forced CAF to rethink maintaining Libya as the tournament hosts. Footyghana.com has learnt that GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi is to discuss the issue with the Ghana government through the sports ministry before Ghana decides on whether to pull out of the running or throws its hat into the ring.
