GHANA TEAM STRANDED IN SUDAN

Ghana’s Local Black Stars are still waiting for a flight that will take the team from Sudan to Kenya, which will facilitate the team’s return to Ghana. Top football commentator Kofi Asare Brako, who is with the team told footyghana.com from the team’s base in Sudan that unavailability of flights has led t the team’s continued stay in Sudan after the team’s CHAN campaign came to a disappointing end on Sunday after 3 consecutive losses. According to Asare Brako, there have been no flights from Khartoum to Nairobi, adding that the team has been given an unconfirmed report that they could leave tonight. The Adom FM sports presenters also told footyghana.com that the players are more relaxed now and were constantly talking about the Glo Premier League. Asare Brako further revealed that Herbert Addo seemed less tense and has been  apologizing on several stations including Adom FM, for the team’s poor performance. Should the team leave tonight for Nairobi, the Local Black Stars contingent could arrive in Ghana tomorrow afternoon.
