ANJOURIN APPOINTED MATCH COMMISSIONER FOR CONGO V GHANA GAME

The defeated candidate in the just ended CAF Executive Committee elections in Sudan, Anjourin Moucharaf has been appointed the match commissioner for Ghana’s crucial 2012 African Nations Cup qualifier against Congo in Brazzaville in late March. Anjourin lost out to GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi in a landslide defeat with Nyantakyi winning with a margin of 34 votes to 19. Nyantakyi himself has been asked by CAF to act as the match commissioner for the 2012 African Nations qualifier between Nigeria and Ethiopia, but footyghana.com has learnt that he may decline that appointment in order to be in Congo for a match that is considered crucial to Ghana’s qualification hopes.
