WE HAVE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF NYANTAKYI’S PRESENCE AT CAF – BAAH NUAKO

The International Relations Manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Kwame Baah Nuako says it is up to Ghanaians as a whole and football stakeholders in particular to take full advantage of GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi’s election to the Executive Committee of the Confederation of African Football (CAF). Baah Nuako told footyghana.com that Nyantakyi’s election has now afforded Ghana the opportunity to be imvolved in policy formulation by CAF, adding that the presence of the GFA President at that level could positively influence certain decisions that will in the long run benefit Ghana. Baah Nuako, who is also an Executive member of the Ghana League Clubs Association, however warned that all stakeholders in Ghana football had to be on their toes in order to ensure that Ghana benefits from the electoral victory, noting that a sense of pro activeness was needed to drive Ghana’s agenda home at the CAF level. Baah Nuako also told footyghana.com that Nyantakyi’s election is an inspiration to young and upcoming football managers like himself, adding that success does not necessarily depend on old age and many years of experience.
