PERFORMANCES HAVE BEEN AVERAGE – OKRAKU

The Administrative Manager of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA), Edwin Simeon ‘Kurt’ Okraku says the performances of the teams that played in the MTN FA Cup Round of 64 have been average. Kurt, who is also a key member of the FA Cup Committee, told footyghana.com that the quality of football was not so good and not too bad either, adding that the match he thought was high on technique and skills was the Red Bull v Cheetah FC game in Sogakope. Kurt further revealed that the all-Premier League clash between Medeama SC and Real Tamale United in Tarkwa was probably the best in terms of takings from the gate, adding that the FA Cup Committee is undecided as to whether the grassless Kawukudi park, which serves as the home ground for first division side Sporting Mirren, will be used as a venue in the Round of 32 if Sporting Mirren gets a home tie. The live draw of the MTN FA Cup Round of 32 is set to be held at the Metro TV premises this Friday at 6pm, with the games beginning from the 27th February.
