GHANAIANS ABROAD 11-13 FEBRUARY 2011

ENGLAND
In the Premier League, Richard Kingson played the entire match in goal as Blackpool drew 1-1 with Aston Villa.
Asamoah Gyan scored in the 11th minute and played the full match as Sunderland lost 2-1 at home to Tottenham Hotspurs. Sulley Muntari was booked in the 33rd minute and played the entire match for Sunderland. John Mensah also played the full game for Sunderland.
Michael Essien’s Chelsea will face John Paintsil’s Fulham on Monday night.
In the Championship, Lloyd Sam was an unused substitute as Leeds United won 2-0 at Bristol City.

SCOTLAND
In the Scottish Premier League, Francis Dickoh was sent off in the 73rd minute as Hibernian beat Kilmarnock 2-1.
Prince Buaben was replaced by Johnny Russel in the 63rd minute as Dundee United lost 3-1 at home to Celtic.

SPAIN
In La Liga, Derek Boateng played the full match as Getafe drew 2-2 with Malaga. Quincy Owusu Abeyie was not part of Malaga’s match day squad.
Jeffrey Sarpong was replaced in the 56th minute by Francisco Sutil as Real Sociedad beat Osasuna 1-0.
In the Segunda Division, Jonathan mensah was an unused substitute as Granada beat Albacete 3-0.
Mubarak Wakaso was not part of the Villareal II squad that beat Ponferradina 1-0.

ITALY
In the Serie A, Kevin Prince Boateng remains sidelined with injury as AC Milan thrashed Parma 4-0.
Kwadwo Asamoah played the full match as Udinese won 3-0 away to Cesena. Emmanuel Ahyemang Badu replaced Gokhan Inler in the 89th minute for Udinese. Stephen Appian was an unused substitute for Cesena.
Afriyie Acquah replaced Giulio Migliaccio in the 32nd minute as Palermo lost 4-2 at home to Fiorentina.
Richmond Boakye Yiadom was not part of the Genoa squad that drew 0-0 with Bari.
In Serie B, Ahmed Barusso was replaced at half time by Marco D’Alessandro as Livorno lost 2-0 to Portosummaga.
Isaac Cofie played the full 90 minutes as Piacenza thrashed Grosseto 4-0.

In the Bundesliga, Isaac Vorsah was replaced at half time by Josip Simunic as Hoffenheim were thrashed 4-0 by Bayern Munich.

Anthony Annan was replaced at half time by Joel Matip as Schalke 04 beat Freiburg 1-0.
In 2. Bundesliga, Marcel Appiah scored in the 89th minute and played the full match as Arminia Bielefeld drew 2-2 with Bochum.

FRANCE
In Le Championnat, Andre Ayew was replaced by Loic Remy in the 59th minute as Marseille won 2-1 at Sochaux. Andre’s younger brother Jordan was an unused substitute for Marseille.
John Boye played the full 90 minutes as Rennes beat Nice 2-0. Abeiku Quansah was not part of Nice’s squad.
In Ligue 2, Rabiu Mohammed was not part of the Evian Thonon Gaillard squad that beat Chateauroux 1-0.

In the Dutch Eredivisie,  Nana Akwasi Asare played the full 90 minutes as Utrecht drew 3-3 with Willem II Tilburg.
Kwame Quansah played the full match as Heracles lost 2-1 to Feyernoord.
Matthew Amoah replaced Fouad Idabdelhay at half time as NAC Breda lost 2-0 at home to Heerenveen.
Eric Addo was an unused substitute as Roda JC drew 2-2 with Ajax.
In the Eerste Divisie, Fred Benson played the full match as RKC Waalwijk lost 3-0 to MVV. Gideon Boateng was an unused substitute for MVV.
Edwin Gyasi replaced Raymond Fafiani in the 80th minute as Telstar drew 1-1 with Fortuna Sittard.
