SUDAN DEBACLE DOES NOT SUGGEST THAT LOCAL COACHES ARE NOT GOOD – NYANTAKYI

The President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwasi Nyantakyi says it will be premature for anyone to suggest that Ghana’s failed campaign at the Championship of African Nations (CHAN) means that local coaches are not good for the various national teams. Nyantakyi told footyghana.com that he is waiting for the team to return from Sudan so that he could ask questions and further investigate the reasons for the failed campaign, which saw Ghana finish without a point. The GFA President stopped short of condemning Local Black Stars coach Herbert Addo, but said that even if Addo is to be blamed for the Sudan debacle, it would be premature for anyone to use that as a basis to argue that local coaches are not good.
