GYAN TO NET $130,000?

Entertainment newspaper HI reports that Black Stars striker Asamoah Gyan is on the verge of signing a lucrative deal with telecommunications giants Glo to become one of its Ambassadors. According to the newspaper, Gyan became a target after meeting Glo’s boss, Dr. Mike Adenuga at the recent CAF African Footballer of the Year Awards Ceremony last month. Gyan is reportedly in line to receive $130,000 a year, making him the highest paid Glo Ambassador in Ghana. The deal, according to HI Newspaper, will be finalized and officially announced at a yet-to-be-named venue in Accra on Monday February 14, and Gyan will reportedly be present to sign the dotted line before flying back to England the same day. It is however unclear how long the new contract will be.
