CAF EXCUSES NYANTAKYI AND CHANGES ANJOURIN’S APPOINTMENT

The Condederation of African Football has excused GFA President Kwesi Nyantakyi of his appointment as a match commissioner for the 2012 African Qualifier between Nigeria and Ethiopia towards the end of March. According to our correspondent Yaw Ampofo Ankrah, this new development came after Nyantakyi asked to be excused so that he would be present for the Congo v Ghana game. In another development, Anjourin Moucharafu, Nyantakyi’s rival in the CAF Executive Committee Elections will be re-assigned a new match by CAF after originally billed to act as a match commissioner for the Congo v Ghana game. This change was also effected after interventions by the GFA President.
