Former league champions Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday lost 3-2 to Ivorian giants Africa Sports in a glamour friendly played at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi. Kotoko raced into a 2-0 half time lead through Ivorian striker Ahmed Toure in the 24th and 31st minutes. Africa Sports began its comeback in the second half with a 51st minute strike by Patrick Eze Friday , after which Noel Blagnon scored in the 67th and 69th minute to win the day for Africa Sports. The match is part of Asante Kotoko’s preparations for the resumption of the Glo Premier League.
