GHANAIANS ABROAD 21-23 FEBRUARY 2011

UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE
In the Round of 16 first legs, Michael Essien played the full 90 minutes as Chelsea won 2-0 away to FC Copenhagen.
Andre Ayew played the full match as Marseille drew 0-0 with Manchester United. Andre’s younger brother Jordan was an unused substitute for Marseille.

ENGLAND
In the Premier League, Richard Kingston kept goal for 90 minutes as Blackpool beat Tottenham Hotspurs 3-1.
In the Championship, Lloyd Sam did not make the Leeds United squad that drew 3-3 with Barnsley.

SCOTLAND
In the Scottish Premier League, Prince Buaben was replaced in the 81st minute by Morgaro Gomis as Dundee United drew 0-0 with St Johnstone.

SPAIN
In la Liga, Jeffrey Sarpong was an unused substitute as Real Sociedad beat Mallorca 1-0.

FRANCE
In Ligue 2, Moussa Narry was replaced in the 73rd minute by Idir Ouali as Le Mans lost 1-0 to Boulogne.

BELGIUM
In the Pro League, Abdul Yakinu Iddi replaced David De Storme in the 90th minute as Mechelen beat St Truiden 1-0. Yakinu’s brother Abdul Ganiyu Iddi was an unused substitute for Mechelen.
