GHANAIANS ABROAD 18-20 FEBRUARY 2011


ENGLAND

In the FA Cup, John Paintsil was an unused substitute as Fulham lost 1-0 at home to Bolton Wanderers.

Michael Essien replaced John Obi Mikel at half time as Chelsea lost on penalties to Everton.

In the Championship, Lloyd Sam was an unused substitute as Leeds United drew 2-2 with Norwich City.

SCOTLAND

In the Premier League, Prince Buaben played the full match as Dundee United lost 2-1 to Hearts of Midlothian.

Francis Dickoh scored in the 87th minute and played the full match as Hibernian beat St. Mirren 1-0.

SPAIN

In La Liga, Derek Boateng was booked in the 53rd minute and played the full match as Getafe lost 1-0 at home to Racing Santander.

Mubarak Wakaso was an unused substitute as Villareal drew 1-1 with Malaga. Quincy Owusu Abeyie was not part of Malaga’s squad.

In the Segunda, Jonathan Mensah replaced Diego Mainz in the 28th minute as Granada drew 0-0 with Ponferradina.

In the V-League, Benjamin Dzigba scored an own goal in the 81st minute and played the full match as Hoang Anh Gia Lai beat Ha Noi Acb 3-1. Former Liberty Professionals striker Jonathan Quartey was booked in the 35th minute and played the whole game for Ha Noi Acb.

Issifu Ansah played the full game as Khanh Hoa beat Binh Duong 3-1. Mustapha Essuman was replaced in the 80th minute by Martin Trindade for Khanh Hoa.

Edmund Owusu Ansah was replaced by Devon Hodges in the 74th minute as Song Lam Nghe An beat HP Ha Noi 2-1.
